When I adopted Casey my 5 yr old cocker spaniel I never dreamed how much I would benefit from the many walks and and trips downtown with her.
I am a petite person 5'2" and 110 lbs but when you are this size you really notice changes in your body and they are very uncomfortable sometimes.
I was distressed about my thighs because they were flabby and they rubbed together and I hated it.
After 6 months of Casey's therapy, I can report that I have never been fitter and my thighs are almost back to normal size. I also ride a bike but since Casey arrived I don't have time for that now because I need a little trailer to take her with me.
I also suffer from osteoporosis and I am sure this daily exercise is all good for that too.

The best psychiatrist is a cocker kissing your face.
If you want the best seat, move the cocker.
Yes Casey is allowed on the sofa, that is why it is called "fur"niture.
I am trying hard to be the wonderful person my cocker thinks I am.

that is so true, you never realise just how much exercise you get when walking your dog and the best part is you do not feel like you are doing any major workout because you are having so much fun, we have got a lot of snow here where i live today and usually i would not even entertain going out in it but today me and my carla are going to have some fun as she loves the snow and i also agree with the "fur"niture that is why it is spelt that way dont you think.

You got it! That is exactly why!
Your dog is beautiful too and I bet it gives you a real good walk everyday.
