My dog recently loss one eye, trying to manage

Our dog just currently lost one of his eyes due to an accident, hoping to hear from others on how they have coped??

I hear stories all the time about cockers losing an eye to disease or accident. Apparently they adjust very well to limited vision and blindness. Be aware that when you are training your dog you must be on its good side. But they adjust very well to their limited vision area. Take very good care of the other eye! I guess like humans there will be an adjustment period as it must feel different for them.
What kind of dog? how old?
I am sure he will manage fine..Keep treating him as a beloved member of your family who is normal in every other way.

hi i am sorry to hear about your dog but i am sure he or she will adapt well given the time and love he needs. when a dog loses a leg for example they cope very well and find ways inwhich they can manage to lead a normal happy life good luck x
