I just read two really good books that helped me to understand dog behavior and how we try to attribute behaviors they exhibit to human like thought and feelings. For people that have more than one dog the book The Hidden Lives of Dogs by Elizabeth Marshall Thomas is great. It is an easy read and enlightening. The other book goes a step further and looks at the mind of dogs. The author is a psyhcoanalyst and tries to explain and understand dog emotions. The book is Dogs Never Lie About Love by Jeffrey Masson.
Read them they are great for the knowledgeable and those trying to become more knowledgeable.:)
