Because of disability I am having to move to a specially modified flat where I am not allowed to take our beloved pet. We got her from a rescue centre 2 years ago and in my 60 years of dog ownership I have NEVER had a more loving, faithful and fun loving animal. Merle is a brindle coloured Lurcher (not a skinny one) and she is about 5 years old. She absolutely adores my 18 year old grandson who lives with me and looks after her. I have an appointment to take her back to one of the nicest rescue centres in the country on Friday 16t February but I would prefer to rehome her privately if possible so that I could get some feedback.
She is used to living in small flat with a small garden and the occasionally run round the park but she is also used to being left on her own for a few hours when necessary. She loves to sleep a lot like most of the Greyhound type dog but can be energetic when taken out to the park. She loves all humans and has had good contact with ages from 3 months to 70 years.
If anyone is interested I would have to bring her to your home myself and see how she likes you before I made a decision.
I live in London so London and the home counties would be preferable. If you reply could you please reply to my email addre Kay37@aol.com and put MERLE in the subject line.
Thankyou
Anne
