I was so happy to get to share my home with this wonderful little puppy!
~A cry for help came from our local Protective Leauge for this little one (9 wk old toy fox). He was dropped off at the shelter with a broken leg (his toe nails painted (hes a boy) we think a child broke his leg on accident & they could not afford the vet bill). The cost $1500. The pound cannot pay that much for one dogs surgery (next step if no one came through euthanasia), so the cry for help & donations was made. We answered their cry. We took the little guy into our rescue & paid for his surgery. I was very honored to have him stay for a bit at my house & he got to play with Kipper, Spunky, & Marley (they loved him!). I dropped him off this morning to a couple who will be fostering him for 4 more weeks until the vet gives the OK (his leg healed) for him to go up for adoption.
*On his leg is where they operated. The surgery went extremely well. The doctor said it was like working on a chicken bone.
