Our day started at 6:15 AM. Everyone went out to potty and then came in for breakfast. I showered and dressed while they were eating then they had one more outing before we crated all of the fosters and leashed the kids to go to Lake Hollingsworth. It's about 25 minutes from the house and the traffic was very sparce for a Saturday morning... As it was we had to park way away from the festivities becasue there were so many people there already. It was about 8:15 when Marcia and I hooked up.
The parade of dogs started at 9 and went to 12 it's a total of 3 miles around that lake.. whew were we hot and tired. Thank goodness there was a breeze or we would all have been toast!
Here is Marcia holding my three pups. Her Doogie has had patella surgery and couldn't come so I let her walk Kadin....

There were lots an lots of people and exhibits to see. They were giving out free stuff at each exhibit. I have two new tennis balls and a frisbee for the kids and I was given a very pretty scrub shirt to use when I groom the dogs. It says Paws to save a dog on it.

There always seems to be an abundance of food at these gatherings.....

Lacey-Lou watched most of the activity around her from the safety of my lap. The other two pups had their own blanket to lay on and watch the crowd go by...

We all had great fun. My legs and feet are screaming right now but it was worth every step just to be out among people again.
Hugs
