about insulinoma
"The pancreas is an organ in the abdomen that makes the hormone insulin. Insulin is required to regulate blood sugar levels. Tumors of the pancreas that produce too much insulin (hyperinsulinemia) are called insulinomas."
When you have high serum insulin level you have low blood glucose -collaps.
--There are two hormons that pancreas produce insulin-put sugar into cells, and
glucagon that take it out.(simply explanation)
Surgery is the preferred treatment - but even then there is no guaranties.
In the human medicine use octreotide to suppress insulin secretion.
Nutrition-nothing special try to give him insted wather always 10% glucosa.
