I am in the last leg of my schooling. I am teaching along with my mentor. On the first day, there was this great little dog Zoey who was being handle by a young boy. The parents had gotten the dog for him and made Zoey his responsibility.
Even though showing some aggressive behaviors with other dogs, there was still something about Zoey. She touched my heart in a different sort of way.
Last Monday I learned the sad reality of being a dog trainer. The parent of the boy with Zoey made my mentor tell him that Zoey was not the dog for him. The boy cried and cried.
The people were going to take Zoey back to the shelter she came from.
Thankfully I caught them in time and today Zoey went with my neighbor. The neighbor that has Conner's best friend Sarah.
She fits in like she belongs there. I am so happy for everyone. The boy can still see his dog, Zoey has a forever home and a great doggie sister, and making my heart glow there is just something about Zoey. I will put up pictures soon.
