hey, im new too i have a labxhusky i was supposed to get him fixed on val-day and they were going to keep him for the night i just couldnt do it im from arthur ontario i was just wondering if they have to keep him over night or why cant i pick him up that night

I adopted my cocker spaniel last year at age 5. She was spayed a month later and she came home the same day.
It is more dangerous for a female that age and I was very surprised to have her home that night.
Different vets have different rules.
Why they would keep a male overnight, I don't know but they are being cautious and that is likely a good thing.
