Just a short note to introduce myself and my beloved pooch - 'Prince'. He is a 15 month old Italian Pomeranian. We're new to this, so please bare with us whilst we adapt to how this site works!
As we're from Liverpool, we are both HUGE Liverpool fans - attached is a picture of Prince with his own Liverpool Football shirt...lol

Welcome,
I am new as well. Your Prince is beautiful. I have a 4.5 month old Papillion named Spencer. I also have a 13 yr old boxer cross named Dusty. We adopted Dusty when he was 10 weeks old and he is my baby. But we just recently brought Spencer into our lives and he has been so much fun. Well I hope to see you on this site. I am looking forward to talk to people whom love their dogs as much as i love mine.

Hi Melissa
Thank you for your reply. Looks like you have your hands full with two dogs - do they both get on? I got Prince when he was about 7 months old - I'd been looking for a dog for a while, and after months of searching I had decided upon a rescue dog, I passed the home check and about 2 weeks before I was due to collect it, my hairdresser rang me, asking was I still looking for a dog as her aunty had recently moved into a flat and her landlord wouldn't allow dogs, so she had to get rid of it. I jumped at the chance as at least with this dog I knew the history behind it. (personally I wouldn't have moved into a flat if I was told to get rid of the dog - I'd of moved somewhere else!...lol). However since having him, he has made my heart smile again - I love him to bits!

Hi Sharon! Casey is 6 now. I adopted her last year at 5 when she was voted off the island when the breeder had to get rid of some dogs. I spayed her and she got the complete retirement package with benefits.
I am so lucky because she is healthy and gentle and quiet and lovable but submissive which has endeared her to all my neighbours. We don't see very many cockers around here but there are a few pups owned by the University students so guess they will be temporary residents of this city.
I was always a Lab owner and never knew anything about these adorable little dogs. Casey is about 15 1/2" tall and weighs 26-28 lbs. She loves fruit and veggies and eats very little dry dog food. She has peeled, seedless apples, carrots, tomatoes, bananas, and hard boiled eggs and begs for just about everything I eat (I am immune to the begging now) so we call her the wiggle-butt chow hound. She thinks everyone coming to the door is her new best friend. I want another one as a playmate for her because she misses having another dog around but am looking for the rightone.
I am not sure what a King Charles Spaniel looks like so will google it and see. I believe Casey is an English cocker because she is larger than any American I have met and she has tighter eyes and her mouth is different. I think it makes her face so much sweeter. She is white and buff and since spaying at such a senior age, it has affected the way her fur grew back after her close shave last summer. The fur is quite thick and curly now instead of smooth and silky. With the right conditioners I feel we can live with that.
What kind of dogs do you have? How do they get along?
Nice to meet you and enjoy this site. Lots of nice folks here.

Hi Sharon and Prince
I love the photo, I bought my 6 year old wire-haired Dachshund an England shirt, but will have to get him a new one now as we've relocated to wales. He's the only one that will wear anything. I bought all of them coats for bad weather days but they're not happy wearing them. The long haired dachshunds- Lara and Sophia look like drowned rats some days! Pippin the boxer will not wear her coat, she pulls at it and rubs up against things and Charlie the Dane is too big, although I'm sure someone out there makes coats in his size. (horse blanket- lol)Tinkerbell (other wire-haired daxie) likes Willows England shirt the best, but she got too big when she was pregnant she'll have to wear her coat now as the puppies have made her fur go a bit thin in places.
bye for now toppers, willow, tink, lara, sophia, pippin, charlie and the 4 pups.
