chihuahua puppy wanted

we have been looking for a chihuahua puppy. but so far no luck.
It is just very hard to tell which breeder is a good people giving a puppy good start by just reading a few lines about them on classified ads. we don't want to deal with pet farm people.
Please someboday help us!!
