Hi I'm just finding my way around this site,Ihave two GS females they are Ruth-sable-7yrs young and Abby-black-6yrs young we love them very much but they don't like each other infact I would go as far as to say they HATE each other we have to keep them separated at all times it can be very hairy at times.

I adopted Casey last Aug @ age5 She is a cocker spaniel and loves other dogs. I knew that I would likely get another dog as company for her.
After watching her with other dogs in the neighbourhood, and after babysitting a friends cocker, I realized the other dog would have to be a male.
She loves boy dogs way more than girl dogs.
Perhaps that is what happened in your case.
Did you get them at the same time?
When I agreed to rehome Little Jake the other dog I just got, I had the owner bring him over for Casey to decide how friendly they would be.
She helped me decide that he was perfect for our household.
He is not neutered though and I am hoping I can still get it done. He is 10 yrs old and not sure how the vet will feel about doing it on such an old dog.
But Casey, who is submissive normally, sure puts him in his place when he gets ideas about mounting her. Since she is spayed, she does not allow that.
So sorry you have 2 dogs that hate each other.
