Hi everyone,:) I have a once well behaved 17 month Staff called Bobbles, I say once because just latley she's being a pain, thats why I've joined K9 on the hope that someone will be able to give me some advice and I maybe able to help some other doggie owners with some basic training tips.
Bobbles is a small brindle Staff but she has a huge sence of fun, she's so friendly she thinks everyone and everthing wants to say hello to her, which is not ideal, but most people that meet her love her to bits,It's nice to meet you all and i'm looking forward to recieving some advice ;)

My Great Dane can be a pain!! I got him when he was 9months, he was rescued by a breeder. He wants to play with everyone and is unaware of how daunting he looks. He's a big fellow!! I started going to obedience classes - mainly so that he could socialise. He's 7 now but I do use a Halti if I'm going somewhere busy. He still wants to play with everyone and acts like a puppy, so I try to react to situations before they get out of hand, e.g cross the road if I see a big dog coming, put myself between the dog and anything/anyone else. He's harmless but other people/other dogs don't know that, and can get anxious when faced with a giant dog.

hi from a fellow staffy lover!maybe Bobbles is just bored,I bet she is a bundle of energy.Mine can get naughty when she hasnt had much mental stimulation.nothing fixes that like a good exhausting game or a long walk.I found basic training helped heaps
