My friend called Friday to invite me over to meet her new dog (she has 3 well loved rescues already) Well, she just adopted a "puppy mill mom". This little terrier is about 2 years old and spent her life so far having puppies in a cage in an unheated shed in WISCONSIN. It's a wonder she didn't freeze to death. Zeva, as she's now called, was so frightened and overwhelmed by the huge world outside of her prison. She was rescued, spayed and adopted to a forever home and is finally getting the life she deserves. My friend called her workplace on Monday and said she had to take off work to give her little dog an extra day of attention before leaving her. Zeva's come SO far in 3 days. She sleeps with my friend who adores her and is finally starting to play. :D

PS-Elsa loves Zeva and is looking forward to playing with her when she gets her confidence up enough to feel like it.
