Yesterday my daughters 3 1/2 month old lionhead bunny Bubbles died :( We dont know why she died  She was fine that morning hoping around in her x-pen with her buddy Cupecake. I put them back in their cage (inside the house) with their frozen water bottle like I always do, and 4 hours later she was dead!

thanks everyone. My daughter is feeling a little better although she still says she misses her, and she is afraid that the other 2 are going to die too.

I did let the breeder know, not that he cared  He said the one he kept from the kindle is doing fine, and no one else has reported any problems with any of the others.

Oh that's so sad. I wonder what was the cause of death in one so young? I do hope your daughter is OK. It's a hard lesson to learn isn't it? :(

You and your daughter have my condolences on your loss. 3.5 years just doesn't seem long enough. It must have been a terrible shock. I hope your little girl will be able to stop worrying about the others soon_Marie

Poor baby. Sounds similar to my rattie girls' passing. I watched them play, and within an hour each time, I found one dead. The smaller critters can go down fast. I hope the others remain healthy.
