Working on a new look for the site

We are working on a new look for the K9Mania site right now. If you want to test it out, check the "K9Mania" skin on the drop down menu on the bottom left of any page on the site.

If you find any bugs or have any suggestions to improve the look, please feel free to post them here.

Love all the canines...adorable.

I find that it takes up more screen though so a little more difficult to navigate. A lot of scrolling for me with my 17" monitor.

I really liked the way I could view all of the forums before and choose which one I wanted to add postings too.
I guess we will get used to it.
I did switch to thread mode to try that.

I like the new look but I agree with Carol it was a bit easier to navigate through the site before.. Just a thought

As far as the old skin, you can still use it if you want. Just go to this link:
http://www.k9mania.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions

Scroll down to "Forum Skin" and pick either "Bluesaint" or "Bluesaint+" and then click on the "Save Changes" button.

Those two skins are the old forum default skins. One is fixed width and one will stretch to the width of your browser, but they both look the same.

Can anyone explain why, some posts are stretched out
so wide that it is way wider than the screen and becomes almost
almost impossible to read because of all the scrolling side to side?
Is there not a margin set or wrap around feature?

I notice it happens when a rather large photo is posted but also now I see it happens without a photo.

I will find out why that is happening. I am meeting with my son who has set it up on Thursday and see if we can fix it.

I am new and having a problem uploading a picture. It only tells me that is has failed. I have tried several different ones, resized them all to 100 x 100 and even tried changing formats, nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help me with this?
