Hi, Im new today. The main reason being I have just lost my trusted dog carer.I have been hunting the net looking for possible replacement.
Probably like most of you I cant bear to trust my beautiful Wheaten bitch to just anyone.
It occured to me that it would be so good if there was a site that could put owners in touch with others in the same area who could meet up to test compatibility of their best chums and then possibly come to a non financial but mutualy benificial arrangement to cover those times that inevitably occur when we need temporary care for our freind.
Would be intersted in your general views and particularily anyone near Burgess Hill , West Sussex.---------sharonsailing

I'm from Michigan. I always have trouble finding people outside of family to watch all 5 of mine so we just always have to take 2 or 3 with us. The kids wouldn't have it any other way anyway. Good thing we camp alot. That is always pet friendly. It can be a problem I agree.

With your beautiful lakes and countryside who would? I work as cabin crew, fortunately now, after 28 years, only part time.Have to go away to earn the dog food etc
I waited til I was 31 to get my first Wheaten as I didnt think it fair however circumstances change and once you have one you cant bear not to and find ways to make it work.

My husband supports me, he's old fashioned and likes me at home, the dogs give me a reason to be at home as the kids are getting older and need me less and less. What would I do if I didn't have my family? (7 dogs, 3 kids and a husband!) They are my reason for being!
