What's the Gorssest Thing Your Dog Ate?

Last weekend, i went to visit my Dad. He has a 2 acre pond that he stocks with bass. Jersey & i went for a walk & i caught her eating a *dead fish*. i almost threw up on the drive home b/c she smelled so bad. i'll bet that she thought that she smelled great!

My dogs love to eat horse apples (horse poop to you city slickers!). Unfortunately its kind of inescapable as I live right across from the Agriplex and I'm an avid rider. Nothing bad about it... not even a smell. All it does is clean out their systems. The absolute worst thing I've ever seen a dog do was our old WGS x (now deceased). He once ate a whole gopher, then regurgitated the half-digested thing all over the front entry-way of my house. Not only that, he then proceeded to re-eat the mess that he had made. I felt kind of faint after that episode and I have a fairly strong stomach.:eek:

The grossest thing Duke has eaten is cat poop! Its disgusting. If I cathc him doing it he'll stop but if I don't catch him and he has it in his mouth he won't listen and stop.

Yeah; my dogs love cat poop too. Every time we go out to my Dad's place they have a feast until it's time to leave. If they're not into the cat poop, they're rolling in the cow patties or the horse apples... when they're not eating them of course. I've actually had to bathe the critters before coming home!:D

Took my dogs to a branding the other night. First 1 for Bandit, second for P.J. Unfortunately, they discovered the prairie oysters from the-ahem- formerly male cattle. The old cowboy's in charge of that particuler duty were just tossing them in a bucket to be cleaned and roasted for the Elks later (yes, unfortuately people actually eat these things too) and Bandit and P.J. just had to get in on the action. They ate the whole bucket, then looked for more. Was rather disturbed by this whole episode.

My boxer used to eat horse poop, my daxies like rabbit poop (more their size!) Last month my daxies cornered a mouse in the garden, Willow the male daxie caught it and killed it with one bite, I ran off to get the shovel to scoop up the body as they all stood looking at it. When I got back and tried to scoop it Willow picked it up and ran away, I began chasing him round the garden with shovel in hand shouting 'drop'. With two gulps it was gone! he didn't sick it up and his poops were fine. Needless to say he didn't need his raw meaty bones that day! :eek:

none of you have obviously had a dobermann they can find and eat gross any where, one of my dogs found a dirty babies nappy on the beach and before i could stop him he ate it, it was the next day how ever that was realy gross as when he tried to poo i had to help pull it out as it was too big. so much for keep britain tidy, wish people would pick up there rubbish. another one of my dogs found a dead rat it must of been dead for a week i chased him for an hour before i could get it off him, i burried it the woods but two weeks later my dog brought the same green stinking rat back to the house after digging it up. mmmmmmmm, i love my dogs.l:p
