wen is the best age to breed a dog cus i wud like to breed my staff but he is only cumming up to his 1st bith day and wud like to know the best age. thanks peeps :D

Hmmm unless your a serious breeder id say DONT do it. there is already to many badly bred staffies about. He should be at least 18 months before hes bred - but unless hes got a very good pedigree and excellant health tests etc then it isnt worth it. Have you any pics of him whats his conformation like?
Like Suz23 has said there are loads of not very well bred staffies many of which have ended up in rescue shelters all over the country.
If you do go ahead you will need to have all the relevant health tests done for the breed and have him assessed by a reputable staffie breeder to see if he is of good enough standard to be bred from.

i agree with what has already been said but if you are still wanting to breed and your dog is registered and in england they have to be two or over before they can be used to breed from as it is kennel club rules.

And we seriously dont need any more pet bred staffs in the uk we really dont - the situation with them in rescues at the moment is appaling, with all the incidents of dog attacks there are tons of staffs and rotts in for rehoming through no fault of there own. we do not need anymore right now!!
