This puppy is extremly scared of coming out of her bed and very afraid of people. She was never mistreated, So whats going on?

With the information given, I would have to think that the pup might be feeling sick. Does the pup come around after a bit? Does the pup have periods of time when it seems ok? If this little pup hasn't settled, I would get it to the Vet to be checked over.

How long have they had the pup. How old is she? Is she always this way. Its possible shes not well but just as likely is shes been poorly socialised by whoever bred her - and the poor wee thing is possibly frightened to death.

Are you 100% sure they dont hit or yell at the puppy ?
