Hello, i'm new here!

My name is Jenny, i am 21 years old and live in Kent (UK). I have a 3 year old male West Highland Terrier called Bobby, a 1 year old male rough coated Jack Russell named Max and my most recent canine addition, a 11 week old staffordshire bull terrier pup, Bruno.

I am a Vet Nurse and have always loved animals but Dogs have always been my main passion!

I am sure i will enjoy it here, it looks as if it is going to be a great forum and i will look forward to spending my time here getting to know everyone and chatting about dogs!

:D Hi Jenny, welcome. You have quite a crew. Would do vet nurses do in the UK. We have something called vet techs that must have a certification. What kind of activities do you do with your pals? Are Staffordshire Bull Terriers viewed as dangerous in your area?

Hey K9!

Veterinary nurses are pretty much the same as vet tech's...in fact some people will say they are exactly the same, just in the UK we call them Vet Nurses! I don't think it involves as much lab-work as in the USA though...

When he is old enough, i am hoping to start Bruno on agility. I think he'd be pretty good at it - it's not something often done with staff's but i have some friends with good experiences and it's a lot of fun so i'm looking forward to that!

Some people look on Staff's as dangerous, they aren't on our "dangerous dog list" but they are quite stocky and this gives the impression that they are dangerous. We have a crises in the UK with rehoming staffordshire bull terrier's, rescue centres are full of them!
