That is a very powerful video. If I had enough land I would scoop lots of those dogs up. The only thing I can do is take dogs in when the vet asks me to. Usually border collies because people do not understand the mental and physical stimulation they need. I agree that dogs need to be spayed and neutered and that it should not be a right, but a privelege. If people do not treat their dogs right or breed when they should not their should be repercussions. Thank you for the video. It is not for the faint of heart. We must all remember that the more we openly discuss the issues, the more those that have less experience will learn and reflect on:)

This is a very moving video created by a very caring person.
It is heartbreaking how badly society can treat their most helpless creatures.
I especially believe that a person who treats animals so inhumanely will also treat his fellow humans with just as little respect.
I would rather see an owner put his pet down humanely than heap abuse on him and ruin his chances at adoption.
Spaying and neutering is one thing we can do to save many animals.

I can never undestand why the ordinary person with no knowledge or experience thinks that because he has this "special" dog he should breed it and get more like it.
All our dogs are "special" that is why they are unique. There are lots of dogs in the Shelters now, more breeding just compounds the problem.
Leave it to the breeders who have spent years, money, sweat equity, errors and lots of puppies to come up with a more healthy and happy dog that is bred to be better than its ancestry not a clone of it.
Lots of so called desiger breeds that people got tired of are sitting waiting for new families in Shelters all over the world. Let's make them "special" too by adopting and spaying and neutering.
