they only go into heat once a year, not twicw like most dogs. Thay are really smart, loyal and very alert dogs. We have a little zoo here the serria safari zoo. the owners have two and they hang out with the panthers and lions. Really cool looking.

Aaawww, how sweet. I was just thing about there wonderful faces! But i think they ae tweo little for my big pup. I was thinking about a Vizla.... or a pointer...or a common retreiver. That would make a good match!

I love the way the pointers look they are so sporty, and the varity of colors is great, i like the liver colored ones. Do you hunt? Or just enjoy the breeds?

No,no,no,no, no! I would never hunt. The only thing i kill are spiders, i fell bad anough by that. I do not even kill pigs or cow. I am a vegatarian. But i am not really a totall hippy or anything...it's just not my style. I really enjoy sproting breeds though. They need lots of stimultaion, and i am good at that! Ya, i love BUCHSHOT.... but can't halp felling disgusted by his suggestive name!lol It's fine though, just not my things. I would never try to purswayed people to my beileif. Not my style either.

I love the 'Whatever' look they have with the wrinkly forehead. It must be great to have a none shedding dog.:o Molly never stops/

Actually they do shed and in some ways it is worse than longer coats as it tends to stick in your carpets and clothes rather like needles instead of lying on it. But no I suppose they are not as bad as some breeds, especially the nordic breeds as they have the double coats.

Oh right, sorry, the link says very little or no shedding. I know what you mean about short coats, Molly's hair drives me mad. Perfect discription, needles. She is mostly white, so at this time of the year, you have to try and get out the house without her brushing past you in you dark clothes    and they won't brush off!!!!!!

Thats ok.
Thats why these forums are so useful for poeple to learn from people that own various diferent breeds instead of just reading about them.
