Jumping

Brigit the mini-dachshund, has finally stopped jumping on our couches! That only took 2 months, lol. She's finally calming down a little a 6 months of age. We're very pleased to say she's becoming a very good addition to our pack of animals. I think she was given to me to teach me patience. Good luck to all the other puppy owners. you can do it!

Well done, at 9 months, I'm still trying to teach my pup not to jump all over the place, but flying over the sofa still seems to be his favourite thing to do when he is excited.

I keep trying to correct him but he does it so quickly (naughtly little monkey), he uses another chair as a springboard so he doesn't even touch the sofa :rolleyes:

Yeah, my brigit would jump up on the couch, then lay down as fast as she could and she'd look at you with that "look how good I am" face. It was so funny, but we had to be stern and take her off, then go in the other room and laugh.

Yeah, you just can't stay mad. I don't think I've ever been mad, just annoyed or frustrated. I wish I could make a face like that. I wonder what I could get away with.
