Itchy eyes

Can anyone give me some advice....My Rotti is itching his eyes on my sofa each day. I've got a vets appointment but wondered if anyone else had experienced this with their dog?

hmmm....Allergies, maybe?

have'nt exsperianced this my self but they can get mites around the eye's which can cause irratation and hair loss , or as mention culd be an allergy.

I agree that it might be allergies. Have you given him any different treats or food lately? One of my dogs- Lilly my moms deaf pit bull- has some food allergies and can only have specific treats. Or did he get into anything he shouldnt have such as house plants or garbage?
