Has the pup ever been housebroken and is having a relapse? Do you have a yard? If you explain typical situation people may be able to give you some suggestions, i.e. pee or poop, during the day, night, when it is cold, etc.:D

the best thing to do for any dog that has got any toileting issue is go back to basics as if they are a puppy. first put dog out side and stay with them until they have toileted and make a great big fuss of them when they have been good. toileting should happen when dog wakes, after a drink and a meal. dont just leave dog alone stand out and play with them this will encourage bowels and bladder to work.

dont put paper down as this encourages gthem to toilet inside still. egnore any mistakes and if they start infront of you inside give a sharp no and carrying them out side. and praise if they finish out side. when toileting where you want them to do start putting a command like toilet good dog and they will learn to associate the command with the action especially if you treat them when they finish.

if dog purposely toilets infornt of you clean up and egnore the dog for as long as you feel right 10 mins usually does the trick, this means no looking, shouting, stroking by any of the family. praise and reward the desired behaviour egnore bad many dogs do naughty things to get atttention even if it means being shouted at. they hate being egnored.

hope it helps good luck:)
