Hi...
I am new here....
My Chihuahua has what looks like a blood blister on his chest...
does anyone have experience with this?

No i've never had anything like this happen to me, but you know what it sounds like something serious. If it were in an area where the skin might have been overly agitated then i would understand, but in the chest? I'll look into this but I would suggest you get a vet appointment as soon as posible.
Thank you so much for your reply and concern...I sure do appreciate it! You know what I got so panicked today I took him to the hospital and they said it looks like he got a pinch or a scratch, maybe busted a capillary so it made a blister. Thank God! I was so relieved - I had been surfing the web so you can imagine what was running thru my head.

I'm the same way, I assume the worst and freak myself out, then the vet tells me it's nothing. My cat has a wart on her head, and I rushed her to the vet when I found it, thinking it was a tumor or something horrible. I stayed up with her all night, too. The vet could tell. He tells me to relax every time I'm in there. i tell them they're lucky they get me, cuz Danny is the more nervous one.:)
I know...we can laugh about it now, right? Until we do it again! Thank God I have a wonderful vet who knows what a nervous dog mom I am...once I went in just to pick up some teeth stuff, he was out in the lobby and he says to me, "is everything okay - oh yes it must be you're smiling!" He's the best...
