Miniature Poodle Bowel Problems:

I have only had him 3 months and for the past month he has been sick.
My 2 year old male is on a second round of antibiotics for his loose bowels and this time they are only just working for him.My vet seems to think he has caught e.coli from eating possum pooh.Has anybody tried "nzyme " antioxidant tablets with their dog's digestive/bowel problems I have read that they are v.good?

Tiny dogs need good diets and good vet care.

Welcome Gail!!! I am sorry to hear about your dogs. A friend of mine has been battling similar issues with her Havanesse. Carol is right. Most of us do not know enough about good diet. Many times vets don't either. If you have a vet school by you, they typically have a nutrition specialty. They will give some advice over the phone. The other thing is to try and find a vet that is into the holistic approach. Where are you from?:D
