Having grown up with cats and dogs and goats I couldn't imagine a life without 4 legged companionship.
Upon moving out of my parents house into my own apartment that didn't allow pets, I found myself moving within 6 months.
I felt a lonliness that my bf I was living with couldn't fill. I found myself lost, quick to anger, and feeling downright weird.
That was the last time I went without pets. I have to have 4 leggeds in my house. We have 3 cats (2 are ours, one is a foster) we just brought home our pooch, Marley, who'd I'd been waiting 2 yrs for.
Our house feels complete. I feel good. I know my stress levels are far too low considering my job...
Life without animals in it isn't a good life. It's just an existance.
