I came across this product online and was wondering if any of you have used it or think it would work. I'd like some input before I buy it.

i've seen products similar to this. anything will work as long as you teach your dog that this is where you "go". i made a "wee garden" in my back yard for my dogs. I squared off an area with garden fence/border and filled it with pea gravel. i'm in the process of finding some non toxic plants to put around it to make it pretty. it keeps my back yard from having "mess" all over as i have a daughter that loves to play outside and I hate to scoop lol! the pee sifts throught the pea gravel and the poop sits on top and i just throw it away. it's way better than them going inside for me and it keeps my back yard looking great and it's kinda cute in it's own right. i want to find a tiny fire hydrant to put in it too lol!

i can suggest some herbs to put around yr pee garden like rosemary, lavender, thyme, mint, lemon balm(this is a good one as it releases fragrance when brushed past), just dont use em for cooking!!! I have all these in my garden and the dogs are good with them, one thing lavender brings lots of bees so if you dont want that dont use it, i hope this helps.

When you get your fire hydrant, you need to show us a photo of the pee garden!

My dog is litter boxed trained. Our puppy is getting there, too. You don't need anything fancy. A nice sized litter pan (it should be big, even if your dog is small, so he/she can do the spinning thing before pooping) lined with pine pellets or newspaper works fine. In my opinion, the pee pads are a waste of money, too. Good luck!
