Hi All

I met a lady last night at my dog training class who was trying to find homes for some of the 82 labs that were rescued from one home in norfolk last month (March 08).

Here is the link to the RSPCA website, http://www.rspca.org.uk/servlet/Satellite?pagename=RSPCA/RSPCARedirect&pg=animalsforrehoming&marker=1&articleId=1208179294758

She said that there are still about 40 that needs homes and will need training, but are all very friendly. The website has more info.

I would love to have another, but don't have the time. Anyway thought I would bring this to your attention, so if you are looking for a Lab or any dog, the RSPCA is a good place to start if you live in the UK.

I hope they all find homes! It still just blows my mind how many Labs end up in SPCA, shelters, and animal control facilities.

YEah, labs are pretty good dogs in the right hands, I'm debating one for the next dog. I don't know if I'm quite ready, but I won't get another dog for years, so I'll be there by then. I even played with the biggest choc. lab I've ever seen at the dog park monday.

P.S. hows your new guy doing, labmom? haven't heard any updates.
