Hello, everyone. Tonight is my first time here. I'm looking for friendlydog conversations. [/COLOR]I have 3 dogs who have me wrapped around their little paws. And, I love every minute of it! I live in Ohio. Anyone close to Ohio? The warm weather we're having is unbelievable for January.

What types of dogs do you have? What types of things do you do with them? You all have been warmer than those of us in CA at times. Do your dogs like the snow? Mine miss the snow. We used to live in PA and IA.

Hi,
I'm new here too. I have three dogs as well. A boxer, 6 mos., a Golden Ret. 4 years and a Dobie, Shephard mix, will be 4 in Feb. And yes, they too have me wrapped around their little paws!!! I love them dearly!! My dobie is still adjusting to the new face, the boxer, but hopefully will come around soon. Any ideas on how to make her transition any easier?

Casey adopted me last August. She is now 6 yrs old and in great health and the sweetest housemate I could ask for. I had always been partial to Labs but she has shown me how great the cockers are.
She loves almost every human, almost every 4 legged creature and l am so grateful that she loves me!
She does not play much with humans or toys unless I get her really worked up, but if another friendly little dog is in her vicinity, she turns into a pup again and goes like the wind running in circles and playing.
She is a white/buff cocker about 29 lbs and she has silky curly fur for the winter. I will be giving her a much shorter cut in the summer because of the daily grooming required.
When I first got her, she did not communicate that she had to go to the bathroom. After 5 walks a day and being put outside every hour on a leash attached to back doorknob she is now fully trained to scratch at back door to go out and scratch to come back in. I am so proud of her. Who says you cannot teach an old dog new tricks?
When she sees me putting on shoes or a jacket, she is a wiggle-butt and parks in front of the door excitedly waiting to go for a walk.
She is not a kissy dog but loves hugs and massages. She is the first dog I have ever owned that smells so good...the fur is amazing.
Casey loves veggies and fruit and her biscuit treats of course. She hates dry dog food and it has made it a challenge to make sure she gets good nutrition.
There is so much info avalable on sites like this though, we have accomplished a lot.
Casey loves snow and burrows in it. I hate winter and am counting the days until Spring and our longer walks.
