I love the fall i tend to cook more. I love the greek chicken lemon soup or a chicken pot pie. I love to make my mom's pot roast. For something quick and simple i like creamy tomato soup and grill cheese. I also like to make pumpkin and banana nut breads in mini loaves they last longer. I like to bake a chicken in the oven and make mash potatoes and gravy and use the leftovers for other things like the soup or the pot pie.
What do you like make?

I love to cook, but don't have alot of time. I guess my favorite comfort food would be when I cook a full roast dinner (English Style) you know roast potatoes, yorkshire putting, lots of veg, gravy and then bake and eve pudding and custard for dessert. The others would be homemade Mac & Cheese and homemade scalloped potatoes. I wish I had more time to cook then maybe I could gain some weight lol. Susan & Lexcee

I love to cook, but don't have much time right now, so, I guess my comfort food lately would be...CHICKEN CHEESE STEAK with extra fried onions and cheese. If I was doing the cooking, chicken and dumplings would do it!

We should start a recipe section and exchange them. Someone could put in a request for a certain one like Black Forest Cake, I have one that is so easy that a child could make it. We could swap all kinds of recipies esp during any of the holidays. Sorry I already licked the bowl lol and I had a hard time keeping Lexcee away. MMMMMMM sooooooooooooo Gooooooood lol

I love cooking! I just don't like to clean dishes. Lets see the two best plates I've cooked are Tortas de Papa (Mexican Potato dish), and Morrocan Chicken. Those are by far my favorite! :D

Definatally my favorite comfort foods are "kiddie foods". On depressing days nothing is better than chicken noodle soup, mac and cheese, or grilled cheese sandwiches.
I also love ice cream (like many others here). One fun thing to do is to make it using liquid nitrogen (What do you mean we're supposed to use it for lab work? I thought the university provided it purely for our own amusement!).

You know I have been thinking about this and I think that any food that takes you to a place in your memory that is good is a comfort food. I remember my childhood in England that is why I love all things English, this weekend I made a treacle pudding which I have not had since I was in school in England. So anything that takes you to a good place is a comfort food no matter what it is. Just a thought lol Susan & Lexcee

My husband is european and he makes the BEST goulash!
I love to cook italian dishes. Asian cuisine is also a fave of mine. I love sushi too.
But by far, nothing beats a good old Aussie Barby! Snags, steak, onion and kebabs are the best!

Hahaha no they aren't too bad if you do that...to bad 99.98% of it is green!:p
I just follow my dog's example, if I give him a piece of sandwhich, he'll drop it on the floor, and eat everything BUT the lettuce, so if does it, there must be a good reason, no?
