Cerbie and puddles

My husband took Cerbie to the bank with him the other day (this by itself shocked me, bc I don't ever take the dogs anywhere if they aren't going in with me, and Danny is a cat person). It's been really rainy and gross out, and Danny likes to drive through all the puddles to make big splashes. Well, turns out Cerbie enjoys it as well. Danny rolled the window down so Cerbie could watch the puddles fly up at them. I took him to petsmart the next day, and he was looking at puddles, and he would glare at me until I ran into them so he could watch them. I didn't know a dog could think like that, to realize what puddles on the road can do if you're in a car. It was really funny, now he looks for puddles when he's in the car.

Love the story and it is facinating how dogs learn things like that, and how they can communicate their desire for you to drive through the puddle and open the window too lol

It's amazing what Cerbie can communicate to us with his eyes alone. He likes to glance at things, then you, then back to whatever it is. Then if we say what it is (ie:ball), he'll run over to it and bring it to us, all pleased with himself.
