ok - so start them off on large bones they both cant swallow and go from there.

Otherwise manage the feeding - if you dont want them to swap they dont, easy to manage neither of mine will swap bones unless i allow it - if your not confident doing that and still worry feed seperately until you get the hang of it good luck x

Their kibble is about 1/2 gone, so I've started adding cooked food in with it to transition them. THey got green beans, parsley, collared greens and yogurt last night, and this morning they got eggs and carrots. The wierdest thing though, my fat kitty stole some of the veggies out of the bowls. But the dogs are enjoying it so far.

You may have to give the kitty some of the veggies.

We always give our dogs any left overs from our meals. I would say they get more nutrition from that than tins and kibble. Also cook fish for them from time to time, usually coley. They love skate bones, and also have raw tripe once a week. We don't give them pastry, or pork, as we think this is bad for them

I didn't think about fish. Good idea. What is tripe? I've heard it referenced, but I don't have a clue.

Tripe is an animals stomach lining. I think it is mainly cows. In England we buy it at Pets at Home
