Bed Recommendations?

The time has come for Bart and Max to get new beds. Their current beds have lasted less than a year as they have both been busy and pulled the stuffing out.

Bart needs a bed thats on the ground... can anyone help me? Fanks

try getting them a sturdy plastic bed and filling it with an old quilt off your bed....the theory is that your smell will help them settle...

it worked for lucy...she was a terrible bed chewer...but since the addition of my old quilt she just curls up and goes to sleep

You can get those "cool la roo" beds that are off the ground, just by an inch or two, and will keep your dog cool, and its hard for them to chew up? I know you said on the ground but...

My Border collie does not get a bed because he is a chewer, I got tired of spending 50 dollars every month for a new bed.

They are off the ground but its a hammock like feel to them...that is my suggestion

I bought a bed like this for Bart years ago and it took him one night to chew a big hole in it ! I think he would have trouble getting onto it now though, even one with a slight elevation.

I like your idea, Lucky.... we have had the plastic beds filled with old sheets etc before.... Im not sure why we stopped using them thoug.....

I love my Perla beds... for the longest time I could only find them in the UK and Australia (yikes, shipping charges on a plastic bed would be outrageous!) but dog.com has them for cheap.

Ronin sleeps in his every day.

Patchs came to my house with her own bed. She loves it. So does Neka, but her bed is a small used comforter from good-will and she love it.
