There was an 8.9 earthquake off the coast of Japan. The repercussions are tsunamis throughout the region. If you watch CNN it is devastating. The tsunamis will hit all the way to Hawaii. We should all think about how we may be able to offer help to all of the animals caught up in the disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the region.

You are so right. Here in the great white north we may complain about the weather, but at least the earth stands still most of the time. We are so lucky. I hope that help arrives for them soon and that our human and furry friends survive and get the help they need.
