Anyone do caniX

Hi does anyone compete in caniX running with your dog we are thinking of starting with one of me rotties

I would love to do this but no place close. I am going to start scootering with the dogs. I got one that can go on dirt so I can take it places.

Hi, I'm really fancying having a go at this. I'm training at the moment but I'm not sure I'd dare actually compete!! Basically to anyone new to it you have your dog in a harness with a bungee line connected at the back which connects to your waist belt. You then run behind your dog giving left/right/hike commands etc. People then race against each other to get the best time.

My problem is making my dog run on past other dogs because he always wants to stop for a sniff/play!! Other than this he is really pretty good at it, we get a good steady pace going. Definitely good to get you both fit
