Max went to live over the bridge

I have been so distraught this week so I haven't been on. We sent Max to the rainbow bridge on Monday. He was proceeded by my brother's dog of ten years on Sunday.
Max, I know that you where one of many. We love you so much "big boo boo" I hope you have no more hip pain where you go. Have fun playing ball with Lamone all day.
God Bless.

Im very sorry to hear about Max. He was such a great boy.

PLease Dont worry. He's amoung friends at the bridge, and he will be playing and waiting patently to see you again some day. Im sure that Chip, Colter and Hoss (and many others) will take the time to show him "the ropes" and make sure he fits right in.

Thank you family for your support. All I have had on this end was "well it was probably for the better cause you have so many"
It has made this whole loss much worse than ever.
Max was our leader. We bought him with golf ball money. I know that sounds weird but we sell golf balls for things we want. Well, we got him.
Many people would have given up on him when he was six months old and found out he had no hips what so ever.
Not us. We loved him everyday, and he ran with the best of them.
I am thankful, even though short he lived a great life with us. He was happy. He is buried in our side yard with his beloved basketball.
I know I will heal in time.
Thank you so much for all of the support.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about Max. Thank heavens you gave him a good and happy life, however short it had to be - God bless you for that, he couldn't have had better. No matter how many dogs you have, losing one is never easy, they are all so special in their own way. Rest easy Max with all your friends at the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so so sorry for yours and your brother's losses this week, what a tough time. I can never understand people who say things like "probably for the best because you have got so many", that is just awful, insensitive and plain ignorant. Some people just do not understand how we feel about our furry families, for that is exactly what they are - our family. They are just like having children, each is an individual with their own qualities and own personalities and own needs. We love them unconditionally, we understand when they are ill or have special needs, we dont care if they look beautiful or plain ragged. We therefore need to grieve as we would for a member of our human family. you dont need to hear comments like that, keep yourself around people who understand. We love them. End of.
sending you a big hug and lots of love xx xx xx

this consists of eating, sleeping and sniffing things

I'm so sorry about your Max. People who say those things just don't understand what wonderful individuals dogs are, and they miss out on some incredible experiences in life.
