Vacuums?
How does your dog respond to a vacuum? Mine treat as if it's an intruder, and stand their ground. Silly dogs. Authough, now you can really tell Shadow is aging since, she has given up the vaccum fight. (most of the time

Star HATES It. When he hears the sound of it, he will back off and hide. He is scared of it.

Cerbie gets between me and the vacuum and tries to protect me from it. Until I tell him to go to his bed, then he lays there watching it. Then when I turn it off, he comes and sniffs me to make sure I'm ok.

Mine think the vacuum is a grooming tool.

Ok my dog Danny will get behind the shop vac and eat the air that blows out the back end of it! He loves anything that makes air! He eats the air out the window in the car and he will even eat your breath out of your mouth! He comes running when I use either the vacuum or the hair dryer! lol silly dog. Nugget runs away but will stay where he can see it just to make sure of where it is.

My pups used to attack the vacuum as any moving prey item which is encouraged by me. It means they are not fearful. Later on it is easy to teach them not to do it. Nowadays they just lie there. Unless I tell them to move, they ignore me even as I bump them with the roller.

OMG that's a funny question! My late chocolate cocker used to go all braced everytime I cranked up the vacuum like it was one of those Air Force blow driers! He did that with the hair drier too. Stock still, all braced, eyes wild. I never blow-dried hisself as it blew out his pretty curls. Think he was a cocka-poo...
