Chevy update

Howdy gang,

it's been so long since i've been able to jump on here and update Chevy's fans
Well he has been doing great, we need 3 more point and he'll be a Grand Champion..hooray! He has finished her Rally Adavanced title in 3 shows and won a Best In Specaility Show (BOB) at the end of the year, so the titles are growing both infront of his name and behind it.
We will be doing his hunt tests soon so he should get his Junior title soon.

We will be going to AKC Eukanba Invitional in FLA this December and then most likely Westminister.
Fingers crossed he will be bred in the spring and his first litter will hit the ground by late spring/early summer.
hope everyone is having a great summer

Way to go Chevy!!!!! He is such a beautiful boy

I havent been showing much at all this year. I have been so busy with kids 4-h and baseball I havent had time to do anything! I do have a new girl for showing she is 5 moths old right now. I am trying not to look at her too much as she is going through the uglies right now I keep telling myself thast she was a pretty puppy as soon as we gewt out of the gangly teenage phase we will be good.

Good news for Chevy! Congrats! You have gorgeous dogs - obvious you put a LOT of thought into your breeding/showing plan. Great work!

Just a question about one of mine I think is a Springer/Cocker mix. He's got this really odd back rib that points outward to the skin on both sides. Hard to explain but it's a lump on either side on the end of his ribs. He also is swaybacked - unlike a Cocker who's back is normally straight. Not overweight but a BIG boy. Is the rib and back thing a Springer issue? I don't care that he's not a perfect Cocker but was wondering if this might be a Springer issue. He comes from a farm that raises both cockers and Springers so probably an oopsie!

New Grand Champion

Well Chevy finished his GCH in style going select dog for a 5pt specialty major on 8/6 and then best of opposite to BOB in speciality show for another 5pt specialty major in 95 degree heat with 98% humidity
So proud of him he showed his heart out in the heat and almsot won best of breed.
we are now preparing for Eukanba and Westminister, they will be here before we know it. We have recived our offical invite to the AKC Eukanaba Invitional in FLA for this december...what a great xmas present
