I did a long time ago. So did everyone else. Have fun posting gore on an empty site. Makes no sense this is supposed to be a happy dog lovers site. Enough death and distruction in this world I sure don't want to come here and see more. Happy posting.

Hey Brooke! Good to see you here! Looks like lots of people check in now and then but don't see anything worth responding to. We could change that!

Yeah, I come on every now and again but never see much happening so just log off.

Life's busy these days with a husband, baby, two dogs and a cat!

Plus, we are buying a new house at the moment and renting ours. Very excited girl here

My puppies are still going well. Sams still a naughty little Jack Russell and Kai is his cute well behaved self.

How is everyone else going?

Busy with dogs here too, which is definitely a good thing! Audrey, the Collie I adopted late last year has been a handful, but making progress all the time. I swear, maybe it's just HER, but she's been tougher to bring around than any Rottie I've ever known! Agility has been really good for her and helped her bond to me. We're working on an obedience title or two now, hopefully will get at least one before the end of the year.
I also took in a really sick cat in March, and have spent a lot of time getting her healthy. She (Maya) has warmed up to Audrey, but still doesn't like Baloo, and he's by far the more trustworthy with cats. Bugsy, the guinea pig I got for DeeOhGee several years ago is not doing well. I'm afraid I'll lose him soon.

WOW Ann...Sounds like you have been a busy girl. It would be nice to get some good people and posts back on this site. Winter coming soon we should have more time for chat.

I sold my training buisness and am now working exclusively with a GSD breeder raising and training protection dogs for a group out of new york.
It's been a lot of travel but have really enjoyed it. GSD's have always been my first love. The boys ( Apache and Dakota ) are still doing well. Dakota only has a year or two left but still a puppy at heart.

Nice reading some normal posts here again. Lets keep it going if we can.

Sounds like you've been busy too Grizzle!! Your work does sound interesting!
I don't know a lot about GSD's other than from dog-sitting for my son-in-law.

This Collie...I could have used your help a few months ago. I've never seen such a resource guarder. I think most of her issues stem from living in a kennel with minimal access to other dogs. She attacks other dogs, and is known throughout central Indiana as The War Collie. The only real clues are the scars on her face. They were there when I got her, and she was less than two years old then.
I can read her tail. I can read her mood just by glancing at it. I'm getting better at distracting seconds before she decides to attack another dog.
