Sorry to make you worry about snakes but after the couple of pictures of pets coming in contact with snakes and the fact that Australia has some dangerous ones it is something to consider.

I used to own cats growing up and they loved being outdoors..but i never had this type of enclosure. if it's only several hours per day and it have some fresh air but feel safe, warm, and enclosed with some of its toys in there...give it a try

All good Furbilator - It's something I didn't think of, so now I am taking measures to make sure it doesn't happen. I'm thinking of putting a clear mesh type over the cage, so nothing can get through but can also let the wind/sun in and out.
