Girls Got New Titles

Howdy all,

Well this past weekend my girls Dale and Jasmine came home with new titles for our Obedience/Rally show.
Dale earned her last two leg of her CD title, boy did we have to really work for them. We had a young lab the was sweet one Dale and decided during our 1 minute sit stay exercise that he wanted to have his way with her...yikes!! Well she held her stay like a statue, unfortunealy the lab was excused from the ring for this both days He did so well with everything else but just couldn't resist Dale She ended up finishing her title sunday with a score of 187.5 out of 200 and 1st place We will be continueing with training towards her Rally Excellent Title and more training towards her CDX title for next year...she isn't to fond of retriving things back to me...lol

Jasmine on the other hand finished her Rally Advanced title with scores of 96 and 90. She earned her title in 3 straight show just like dale. She will be moving onto more training for her CD title and Rally Excelent title this spring.

Now it's time to start the baby and the big goofy guy..I can't wait for them

Well done dogs! Particularly to Dale for holding her stay despite the amorous attentions of her labrador friend! That's just priceless. Keep up the good work!

That is so Cool. That takes some hard work. Well done! Next week I get to meet a handler that works dogs for the Westminster dog show. She is one of my mentor trainers clients. I am so excited.
Hoping she can give me some tips too.

Yes, I agree. You can do sit/stay all day ten minutes long in the yard and in the house. Then when you get to the ring it seems like F O R E V E R!
